what would be the most important things you think someone should be aware about jws if they are planning on getting baptised as a jw?
imagine you are on a plane and get talking to the person next to you.
you find out they are considering becoming a jw but they are not sure.
1) I would mention that no modern scholar believes Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE as the JW's believe, therefore the whole foundation of their prophetic chronology and supposed reason for being chosen as God's Channel is false.
2) The fact that the WTS changed their "1914 generation" teaching to the absurd "over-lapping generation" teaching proved that they were false and just trying to cover their asses.
3) The new F&DS flip-flop is proof that these dumbasses did not even know their own identity until just recently.
4) Have to mention the Watchtower pedophile scandal.

Doesn't sound like it will be anytime soon. Evidently this Watchtower moving plan isn't as far along as I thought. Deluded JW's living each day like Armaggedon will come tomorrow, while the cult leaders know it isn't coming, and are making long range building plans.

what do you envision?.
We are only talking 2 more years until 2015, so I doubt much big will change doctrinally. Doctrine changes that seem big to us doesn't seem to shake up today's JW's much. I would think after 2014 that there will be a higher than normal decrease, but the WTS will still be functioning and still controlling the cult. You have to think that the longer people stay in after all the negative exposure that the Watchtower gets......the more likely they are to stay in. There will still be the born-ins that grow up and leave as soon as they can.
the present gb/fds claim a kind of apostolic succession going back to the now claimed first appearance of the fds in 1919.. i don't think anywhere is it made clear who made up the fds then, but let us go along with the fiction, (in reality we know only rutherford really ruled the roost) and assume there was a group of guys who were the fds, how did they know they were chosen as such ?.
there obviously is nothing in the wt writings of the time as all this is noo lite, so, if they did not know their heaven appointed role, why would they carry it out, except by accident?
and if so, how could they possibly produce "food at the proper time "?.
The ONLY proof that the Watchtower Society can produce to prove that they were chosen to be God's Channel in 1919......is that "THEY" say so.

This was a very good expose' video exposing the JW's for how bat-shit crazy they really are. The more normal people that see this Watchtower stuff on YouTube, the more cracks that will appear before the Watchtower's fall.
